Here are some pics from over the weekend....the weather was perfect!!!! It was over 90 degrees on Sat & Sun!

Spring break

Spring break is officially over! We had a great time up in Syracuse....Makenzie got to spend some time with her Great Grandparents and Uncle Scott & Aunt Emily and Aunt Jennifer & cousin Cody! Here are some pics from the past week...

1st time on the grass....she wasn't sure what to do! She sat there for a few minutes taking in her new environment and then quickly tried eating everything she could get her hands on!

My mom and I took Kenzie for a walk down to the lake....I don't think she was impressed but I enjoyed the view!

On Friday the temp reached 70 so we took Kenzie to a park in Syracuse. She had an adorable outfit on but she had a little accident in the car...silly me did not pack an extra outfit so she had to put on a red strawberry romper with green & pink flowered pants. The outfit was not pretty but luckily she could wear her Spring jacket to cover up her tacky outfit! Lesson learned: always bring an extra outfit!!

Look who's standing...

I was VERY surprised on Saturday when I left the room for a second and came back to see Makenzie standing!!! I didn't even realize she was even close to standing!! Here are a few pics of her newest accomplishment!

The weather has been very nice here in NY!! Of course temperatures in the 70's would be a lot nicer but sunny and 60 in NY, you can't complain!

A fun filled Easter!!

We all had a very nice Easter! Kenzie enjoyed her first Easter with some nice goodies left by the Easter Bunny! We started out the day going through our Easter baskets and then headed to church. Makenzie looked beautiful in her white Easter dress! She behaved very well at church...I didn't have to leave the service until the last 15 minutes when she was getting a little fussy (if only she could act that way at our church in the nursery!). After church we relaxed at my Mom's house before dinner and Kenzie played with all her cousins. I didn't get any pictures of Sophia, Ella or Abbie but they all looked beautiful in their Easter dresses!! After our delicious dinner the kids went looking for Easter eggs outside, despite the chilly weather! I can't wait until Kenzie can run around looking for eggs!

I scanned the Easter card we sent out but for some reason I wasn't able to put it up on the blog...I will try again later and hopefully be able to post it...I was so happy the way it turned out!

Easter bunny!!

Today I took Makenzie to meet the Easter Bunny!! I prepared myself for a little Kenzie meltdown...but to my surprise she did not shed a tear!!! She whimpered a tiny bit but she enjoyed her time on the Easter Bunny's lap! She told him that she hopes to find some Gerber Puffs, baby food, toys and maybe even a stuffed bunny in her basket on Sunday morning!

8 months old!!!

On Monday baby girl turned 8 months old! It's definitely getting a lot harder to take pictures of her now....as soon as I put her down she crawls away....last night she fell asleep at the dinner table so I had to take some pictures!
