We had a nice Memorial Day weekend to kick off summer 2014! :)
Makenzie was excited because she had a 3 day weekend plus she was going to her first slumber party on Saturday night! She was so excited..she talked about it all week!
Well....Saturday around 4 she started to complain about her ear hurting....and the party started at 5!
So I gave it a few minutes and then I was pretty certain she had an ear infection.
So I quickly took to her the walk in and yes she had an ear infection
but she was set on still going to the party.
So I thought maybe drop her off at the party a little late b/c at this point it was already like 6 but just pick her up around 9:30 instead of spending the night b/c I was afraid of her ear hurting throughout the night.
That was the plan but Kenzie was having so much fun with her little friends that I figured she'd be fine throughout the night...and she was! No midnight call to pick her up! :)
On Sunday we had one tired little 5 year old!!
And boy was she grumpy! :)
I was tired of her miserable attitude so I told her to sit on her bed in her room for a few minutes
and she went to sleep right away!
But after the nap she was back to her happy self again...phew!! :)
So we played "breakables"....
She loves these!
Grandma Moebs gave them to her when they were moving
b/c Kenzie would always play with them at their house.
And when little sissy woke up from a nap we took a walk to the ball flats...
This little one is too silly.... :)
On Monday we started the day at the parade....
Jo loved it ...she pointed to everything!
And after we went to see Abbie since it was her birthday! :)
The kiddos had a lot of fun in the sprinkler!
And on Tuesday Jo was still feeling patriotic and waved her flag during our morning walk! :)
