Kenzie's 4th Birthday

Our baby is 4!!  

Really?  Where did the last 4 years go?

Seems like just yesterday Jeff & I were in a cab on our way to the hospital to have our sweet girl!

Kenzie had a great day!  

Kenzie woke me up (she was already in our bed) saying "guess whose birthday it is today?!?"  So cute!  

Jeff was at the gym so she patiently waited for him to get home to unwrap presents! :)

 It was so hard to take pictures of her unwrapping presents....she was so excited!

 She asked for a few presents here & there but would forget about what she asked for a few days later....except for the Cuddle Cuddle Uppet!  She reallllly wanted it even though I really hoped she would forget about it!  I really didn't think she'd play with it at all, but she loves it!! And she was soo excited to receive it! :)

 Jeff went in to work a little later so he could spend the morning with Kenzie....so in the morning we took Kennie and Abbie to the playground!  

A couple weeks ago I took Kenzie & Abbie to the same playground and Kenzie was bummed that she couldn't reach this bar and Abbie could.  On her bday she was convinced she'd be big enough to reach the bar b/c she's 4 now!   Poor girl would not give up nor would she accept any help!  She tried and tried....finally I helped her, but she wouldn't let me tell Abbie she had help! :)

 I took this picture b/c a few minutes before Kenzie was climbing to the top of this rope jungle gym thing and started to fall and was clinging to the green pole.  Good thing we had Super Daddy with us....you should have seen the dramatic rescue!  He ran from the picnic area, slid underneath in one smooth motion and rescued his little princess!  I don't think I have even seen Jeff move that fast....haha!

 Later, Kenzie had gymnastics.  After we went to Sonic and then home for cupcakes! 

She thought the birthday song was really funny! :)

Summer Fun

The Jem Jar

A month or two ago I started a jem jar with Kenzie.

Kenzie was very excited to get started!

We gave Kenzie jems for good behavior....which doesn't work all the time but it's still fun! :)

I was hoping it would stop her from sleeping with us...it didn't, but there is always next time around, right?

As her prize for filling her jar she could pick something fun to do!

 Right before she started spinning uncontrollably...these things are so crazy!

 Better idea....spin the puppies instead! :)

 They both needed to be rescued after climbing...hehe!

 It's crazy to think in a month or so she'll be playing on this playground without her mama close by! :(

I still can't believe our baby will be in Pre-k!!

For my birthday last month Jeff bought me a new (to me) camera!!  It actually use to be my sister's so I'm somewhat familiar with it....I love it! :)  

So I've been having fun with my new toy! :)
Plus I have a cute little model to help me learn my new camera and in 3 months I'll have another pretty little princess to take pictures of!

 After swimming at the high school a few weeks ago, she fell asleep at 6:15!!!

 The night before I took this picture, Kenzie fell asleep with wet braids...her hair looked so pretty after, I had to take a pic!

Long Beach Island {part 3}

Ok, so this is my last post about LBI! :)

  I guess I took a lot of pictures during our little 3 day vaca! :)

Kenzie was not happy about our last day at the beach!  

She made it clear she didn't want to go home!

We spent the morning at the beach with a break for a bbq lunch and then back to the beach before heading home.

 This was Daniella's first time at the beach with Kenzie....it took her a week to warm up to the sand and water! By the last day she enjoyed playing....too bad she didn't like it sooner, Kenzie enjoyed her playmate! :)

She was in rare form right before leaving, running around in circles and running on the 

sofa as fast as she could.

For the last hour or so she followed him everywhere....poor boy!

Before leaving she kept saying "let me say bye to little Mikey one more time" and then get out of the car and act all weird...and during our ride home she kept on talking about him...and even told me about his freckles!  Oh boy! :)
