Let's Party!

Tis' the season for birthday parties! :)  

May & June are busy months for birthdays around here! 

A couple weeks ago we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate Abbie's 6th birthday with Abbie and some of Abbie's friends from her school!  :)

Last weekend we traveled up to Syracuse to celebrate Brayden's 4th birthday!

I can't believe he's 4! :)

We brought Abbie along! :)

These two love each other but wouldn't ya know it....

they started arguing the minute we got into the car!

We seriously weren't even out of the driveway yet!

Mother's Day

 I love Mother's Day!  

I love being a mommy so naturally this day is awesome! :)

My Mama's day celebration started on Friday in Kenzie's school for Mother's day tea!

I had to work last year so I was very excited to get the chance to enjoy some tea & goodies with my big girl!

Makenzie was very excited too....

until I got my phone out to take pictures! :(

....and she was mortified when I took a selfie of us! :)

The kindergarteners read a sweet little poem to their mom's at morning program! :) 

They are just so cute!

And I was spoiled with goodies!! :)  

My favorite kind of gifts! 

 On Sunday we went to church and saw my mom for a little bit before she went up to Syracuse 

and then out to lunch at Sonic.  

We went back home for a nap for Jo and Jeff cleaned up while I relaxed!!!!  Yay :)

Jeff & the girls surprised me with flowers, chocolate, a balloon, and this giant card....

After Jo's nap I took the girls to the playground while Jeff started dinner on the grill! Yum!

 I can't believe how old this one is getting.... :( 

It was such a great day....love my little fam! :)

We've had a crazy spring...although we finally have some nice weather now it started a little cold!

We have had beautiful weather for the past few days high 70s and sunny and I see 80s in the forecast coming up next week! Yippie summer is on the way! :)

Happy Birthday Daddy

On Saturday we celebrated Jeff's birthday!

He worked in the morning and left a little early to spend the rest of the day with us!

While he was working Kenzie was on decorating duty (or do do as Kenzie called it! hehe) and I was on cleaning duty!  Our goal was for Jeff to come home to a clean and decorated home! :)

If I stopped cleaning for one minute Kenzie would say "Mommmmmmy....what are you doing?  

You are on cleaning do do". 

Makenzie did a great job decorating our front door with a sign and a homemade paper chain! 

She also decorated our walls and table!  Too cute! 

I left it up to Jeff what he wanted to do for dinner....restaurant, take out or homemade dinner.  

And he chose steak & crab legs at home!  Yum!  

And since I stink at cooking steak, he took charge! :)

Potty!

Guess who used the potty for the first time last week?!?  

This girl....

Yes, she did!  

My little baby girl goes pee pee on the potty!

18 months old.  

She is FAR from potty trained though...

in fact I haven't even started really training her yet, 

but she will go pee pee most of the time when she sits on the toilet!  

No poo poo yet.  

She will usually "tell" me she needs to go to the bathroom by touching her diaper.

 (but usually it's a little too late!:)  

Seeing this little thing sit on the big toilet has to one of the cutest things ever.  :)  

New Jersey

A few weekends ago we traveled down to NJ for a weekend with Jeff's family 

to celebrate our nephew Drake's 4th birthday...

This one barely slept in the car...

she was too busy eating her toes! :)

The girls had lot of fun playing with Abuela, Tia & Drake! :)

This was also the first really nice weekend of spring 

so we enjoyed some outside time while we were there too! 

I couldn't get Drake to look at the camera...

this was the best I could do! :)
