Yesterday Kenzie & I ventured out in spite of the nasty cold weather! I bundled Kenzie up in her new snowsuit, boots and hat! This snowsuit use to be my best friend's daughter's suit and ever since she gave it to Kenzie I have been looking forward to seeing Kenzie in it! We were only out for about 20 minutes but it was a much needed break from being stuck indoors all day!

16 months is fun!
Jeff & I are loving this age! Kenzie is so much fun these days!
**Loves to play hide & seek and will hide in the same spot every time!
**Just discovered she can pick her own nose....and does it frequently! hehe
**LOVES Barney & The Wiggles!
**She's an early bird and continues to get up earlier each day....today it was 5:00 and for 20 minutes straight she called for "MAMA"!
**Between only having 4 1/2 teeth, being a very picky eater and having a milk allergy there's only a few things (other than cookies and sweets) that she will eat! Her favorites at this moment are: pizza (without the cheese), bagels, Vanilla Soy yogurt, & lasagna...
**Loves her cousins and will scream when she sees them!
**LOVES picking out toe fuzz (from socks)!! I know she will be embarrassed about this one day but I have to share....one day she found a chewed up piece of chicken under her high chair and must have thought it was toe fuzz...b/c the next thing I knew she sat down, lifted up her foot, spread her toes and placed the chewed up chicken in between her toes! HAHA! She even shares her toe fuzz with Mommy & Daddy....she will pick it out and give us pieces! Aww..she has know idea that it's yucky! :)
**She still loves blankie and will carry it around all day. She will stuff blankie in her stroller and push it around and will stuff blankie in a pal and carry it around like a purse. So cute!
**Loves books....I feel guiltily if I don't read her 7 or 8 before bed....which makes for a very long bed routine!

Village tree & Breakfast with Santa!
Friday night our town lit the village Christmas tree. It was such a cute night...right out of a Christmas movie! We live right in the village and on the village loud speakers they play Christmas music...it is so nice to walk outside our door and hear Christmas music! On Friday the town had live music playing on the speakers extra loud, we could actually hear it from Kenzie's room! We looked outside and saw a huge parade of people walking towards the tree singing to the music! As we were rushing out the door I had to go back b/c I forgot my camera...and Jeff yelled "OMG we are going to miss the parade!!!" I thought I was going to have to drag him there but instead he was actually excited to go and got upset thinking that we were going to miss the big event!

15 Month Check Up
Last Wednesday Kenzie had her 15 month check up. She is now up to 20 lbs 8 oz. and 30 1/2 inches long! She is at the 25th percentile for weight and 50th for height. She needed 4 shots but the doctor said that she will not need anymore until she turns 5! Woohoo! The doctor said she looks happy & healthy! :)
Here are some pictures from the day.....

Thankful
Oh, I'm so very thankful for our precious, healthy, beautiful baby girl....
3 Thanksgivings ago I was in LA. I spent the day at a Brazilian restaurant with my coworkers and then went to the gym! Just proves how much has changed...I don't remember the last time I went to the gym and I would NEVER think to go on a holiday! I was miles away from home....
2 Thanksgivings ago Jeff & I had a very fun day. We were on the move all day...going to the Macy's Parade...drinks...dinner in NJ with Jeff's family...out until late! Definitely not a Thanksgiving I was use to and probably will never have another Thanksgiving like it, but it was perfect for us.
Last Thanksgivings Jeff & I wanted a very quiet day with our new little baby. I had to get up the next day at 3 AM to be at work (the joys of retail on Black Friday) so we wanted to stay in and enjoy at day with the family! Jeff's family came from Jersey and we had such a relaxing day...
This Thanksgiving we are spending the morning watching the Macy's Day parade from our living room (probably while chasing an energetic 1 year old around, "playing" with puzzles and most likely flipping back and forth from the parade to The Wiggles). We will head over to my sister's house in the afternoon to have dinner with my family. Our commute will be short (2 or 3 minutes maybe), no crazy holiday traffic in the city, no chaotic train stations, no running to catch a train at Jersey Transit...just a peaceful day with our little girl and my family, that we are so thankful for! (Of course, we are very thankful for Jeff's family too and we will miss them this Thanksgiving...we hope to see you guys very soon!! Kenzie can't wait to find out if she's going to have a new baby boy or girl cousin!!)
