Discovery Center!

On Friday Jeff & I took Kenzie to the Children's Discovery Center in Binghamton! Kenzie loved it! It was so cute watching her run from activity to activity! I think her favorite things were: the bird, the bunny and the bubble station! The bird and bunny were the first things we saw...I wasn't sure if we would be able to see the rest of the place since she wouldn't let us leave them! We will definitely be planning another trip soon (maybe in the summer)!

Spring Break so far....

Spring Break so far has been both fun & relaxing! It's such a nice feeling going to bed at night knowing I can spend the whole next day with Kenzie! It makes me very excited for Summer! :)
We've been doing some fun things here and there but mostly just relaxing at home-playing on Kenzie's slide, taking walks, looking for rocks....

On our way food shopping we decided to stop at the park to let Kenzie play a little bit...

She spent most of her time on the swing! She refused to get off!

After dinner today I took Kenzie to get some ice cream! This is actually her first real ice cream experience! I think she enjoyed it....I know mommy did! :)

Tonight I was in my bathroom when I realized we were out of toilet paper. So I called for Kenzie and asked her to bring me the new package of tp from the hallway (TMI? haha). I thought she would know what I was talking about b/c she's been using the tp as a chair today but she was taking forever to bring it to me! Finally, she came in with tons and tons of tp! She was in her bathroom unrolling the paper the whole time....

Tomorrow Jeff is off so we are having a family fun day! We're taking Kenzie to the Children's Discovery Center here in Binghamton! Yay! Hopefully I'll get some cute pics so I can post them! :)

NJ & Baby Drake!

Drake Allister!

Over the weekend Jeff, Kenzie & I drove down to New Jersey to visit his family. His sister gave birth to baby Drake on Tuesday so we were very excited to meet our new little nephew! He is beautiful! :)
We left really early on Saturday morning so we only were there for one night but we had a lot of fun while we were there! Kenzie had a great time and loved playing with Jeff's mom,sisters, and aunts! She was obsessed with their dog and cat. I can't count how many times we caught Kenzie with the animals in a choke hold! I think it was meant to be a hug but it looked more like a wrestling move!

Before we left we wanted to get a picture of Kenzie & Drake t/g so we put the boppy on the bed for Drake and when we turned around to get the baby, Kenzie plopped herself in the boppy! Poor girl wasn't ready for her baby position in the family to be replaced by Baby Drake! :)

This picture cracks me up! To get Kenzie to hold still long enough for a picture we had to plop her in Kathy's body/boppy pillow. She looks like a huge over grown baby next to Drake!

Kenzie stayed awake for the 2.5 hours there and back! She was great in the car-very little whining and NO crying! Yes, we did have to endure almost 3 hours of children's songs playing but it was well worth it! In the car she started to say please and thank you with out being told to say it! It was the sweetest thing! I would give her a M&M and she would say thank you over and over again. I loved hearing it!

Sprinkle!

On Saturday my mom and I threw my sister a baby boy sprinkle (I was suprised by the amount of people who have never heard of a sprinkle before!). It was such a fun change shopping for boy baby stuff and blue decorations! We have been surrounded by pink for so long! :)

I think everyone had a fun time eating, playing games, socializing and "oohing and awwing" over the most adorable baby boy clothes! I can't wait to meet my new little nephew! *And speaking of nephew, Jeff's sister is in labor as I type this! I can't wait for this weekend when Jeff, Kenzie & I head down to New Jersey to meet baby Drake!
