It's been awhile!

It has been 2 weeks since I've updated! I haven't had the urge to update and I think it's partly b/c I'm still a little bummed about not getting any mommy/daughter pictures on Mother's Day! I had a great Mother's Day despite not getting any pictures of us t/g! We started the day at church, came home for Kenzie's nap then went to Cracker Barrel for lunch/dinner and then my sister and I went out for our free ice cream sundaes with the girls! The weather was not so nice....cold, dreary, and rainy! Not the best weather in May! I wasn't very happy when Kenzie had to wear tights with such a Springy dress!
I did manage to take a couple pics of Kenzie before church... The other day Jeff left to get breakfast but did not close the door completely. I knew Kenzie was by the door but after a couple minutes of Kenzie being too quiet I went out to check on her. She had put on Jeff's shoes and she was sneaking out!
I wonder how far she would have gone before someone stopped her? Haha....I can just imagine a little girl in jammies and huge shoes walking down the sidewalk at 7 in the morning! :)
On Saturday Kenzie and I headed over to Oneonta for Tatiana's 4th birthday party! I can't believe Justine has a 4 year old! It seriously feels like yesterday when we were living in the Bronx and just found out she was pregnant! Time flies...and it crazy to think of how much has changed since then!
We had a great time at the party! Two of my good friends from college were also there! It was so wonderful seeing them....especially since my friend Cynthia has never met Kenzie and I have never met her youngest, baby Elijah! :) When we lived in the city, she lived upstate and then when she moved back to the city, we moved upstate and now finally we are all upstate! So hopefully we will see each other more! Sam & Kenzie! :)
Kenzie & Ayana! How cute are they!?!
After church last week...
Either looking for rocks, ants, or possibly caterpillars...
I'm not sure if this is just around our area or it's in other places too but it has been raining caterpillars!! These gross things have been falling from the trees for the last week or so. They are everywhere....I have even stopped running/walking outside because they just fall from the tree and there are 100's hanging just waiting to fall... Kenzie loves to point them all out and touch them (I try hard to hide how gross I think they are!).

We have a fun couple weeks ahead...1st my brother and sister-in-law had their baby boy, Brayden David on Wednesday! I'm so excited for them and I can't wait to meet this little guy!! Also, next weekend Jeff's family is coming up for the weekend! I can't wait to see Baby Drake again! And, the weather is suppose to be nice and warm for the next few days! And, tomorrow is my last day being a 5th grade long-term sub! The words: 5th grade & sub just do not mix very well! Haha...it's been a long 3 months! :)

You got some great pics of Kenzie here! Love Kenzie and Ayana hugging and Kenzie's cute little pointing pose. I haven't really been outside at all lately (too many 12 hour work days!), but Adam said that we have the same raining caterpillars here. Don't tell Kenzie but I HATE caterpillars! I don't blame you for staying in! Oh and congrats to your brother and sister in law!! Kenzie's so lucky to have so many cousins close to her age!
