Field Days

Today was Kenzie's field days at school!

She was so excited!

Makenzie & Naomi...

Naomi & Kenzie aren't in the same class but it's funny because last summer I knew Naomi before Kenzie did from the library.  Naomi and her mom would come in all the time and I would spend a lot of time talking to them.  I always thought the girls seemed like a good match but when they weren't in the same class I kind of forgot about it.  Well a few months in to school, Makenzie would come home and tell me that she has a best friend but couldn't remember her name. I love how 5 year olds can have best friends without knowing names! :)  Her "best friend" is not in her class but in her reading group.  Well I had no idea who she was talking about until she finally remembered her name and said Naomi!  :)

 Makenzie had to wear longer pants today because during the end of the year show she wore this same t-shirt and it covered her shorts.  She was so embarrassed b/c it looked like she was wearing any shorts! 

 Josie had so much fun too!

 We even got to eat a picnic lunch (inside because it was too hot outside) with sissy!

I was going to take Kenzie home with me after lunch b/c several of the kids were leaving with their parents but she wanted to stay because they were going to watch a movie and eat popsicles! :)

I'm expecting 2 tired little girls tonight! :)
