Josie's Birthday

Our sweet little babe turned 2 on the 19th!
She was so excited for her birthday!
I was so surprised how excited she was! :)
I would tell her 4 more days...3 more days...and each time she would squeal and do a little jig and say "cheese?"  (Chuck E Cheese?)
I don't think she had any idea what birthday means other than the fact that she was going to Chuck E Cheese on her birthday...and boy does this kid love Chuck E!
I think most 2 year olds are scared of the giant mouse...but not Jo!
She is alllll about him!!  She absolutely loves him!

The day before Kenzie & I were up late decorating for her birthday!
Kenzie was so excited..almost more excited than on her actual birthday!
Josie was very excited to wake up to decorations and a present!

Josie loved her new baby doll from sissy!
Sissy picked this out on her own! :)
We then got ready for church....
She loved her new Elmo dress!

After church she came home to her gift from us....
(a Step 2 easy turn coupe car for outside)
we had it waiting inside for her she was excited!!

Unwrapping a present from Grammy!
We then went to Chuck e Cheese for lunch!!
Jo had been talking about Chuck E Cheese for days...
The girls we very happy that the Whitacre kids were able to meet up for a little bit!

Since Jo loves Chuck E we decided to buy a cake there and have him bring it out to her..
She loved it! :)
Look at her...
she's crazy! :)

We were having a great time but then.....
Jo realized she had just turned 2 and needed to act the part!!
So this was about when we packed up and left!
In her defense she was going on day 3 of without a nap...and this girl needs naps!
She fell asleep the minute we got in the car!

Once we were home the girls had fun playing in/on Jo's new car...
...but it wasn't all fun & games...
She turned back to her happy little self once she realized it was time for more cake!
We sang to her once again and ate the leftover cake from Chuck E Cheese.

Such a special day with our spunky red head! :)

Love her:) I can't believe she is two. I still think of her as a baby but she has so much personality already! Boy, they grow fast!
