Random pictures!

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks or so!
I don't know what it is but lately Makenzie is looking so grown up!
I can't pinpoint what is making her look older...but I'm not too sure I'm happy with it! :)

I looked in to Kennie's room to find Josie on the horse (for dolls) reading books :)

Again, how grown up does she look?!?

Josie will climb on her changing table and call me to change her diaper.
Even though most times she's not even wet!
Silly girl!

I walked by Kennie's room to see her reading to Josie.
It was so sweet....
until this happened...
I think Josie wanted to get up and Kenzie wasn't letting her...
so I think Jo attacked and made Kenzie upset. haha!

Field Days

Today was Kenzie's field days at school!
She was so excited!
Josie and I spent the morning with her watching all the activities...

Makenzie & Naomi...
Naomi & Kenzie aren't in the same class but it's funny because last summer I knew Naomi before Kenzie did from the library.  Naomi and her mom would come in all the time and I would spend a lot of time talking to them.  I always thought the girls seemed like a good match but when they weren't in the same class I kind of forgot about it.  Well a few months in to school, Makenzie would come home and tell me that she has a best friend but couldn't remember her name. I love how 5 year olds can have best friends without knowing names! :)  Her "best friend" is not in her class but in her reading group.  Well I had no idea who she was talking about until she finally remembered her name and said Naomi!  :)
The little muscle men playing tug of war!
Josie is just one of the girls :)
 The girls getting ready...
 Their competition...

Makenzie had to wear longer pants today because during the end of the year show she wore this same t-shirt and it covered her shorts.  She was so embarrassed b/c it looked like she was wearing any shorts!

Josie had so much fun too!

We even got to eat a picnic lunch (inside because it was too hot outside) with sissy!
Jo Jo looked so cute sitting there like a big girl!
I was going to take Kenzie home with me after lunch b/c several of the kids were leaving with their parents but she wanted to stay because they were going to watch a movie and eat popsicles! :)
I'm expecting 2 tired little girls tonight! :)

Father's Day

On Father's Day we celebrate this great daddy...
He is such a good daddy and loves his little girls sooo much!
Makenzie is his little princess and Josie is his little buddy!
They both love him to pieces!
We are all so lucky to have him!!  :)

On Friday Kenzie & the rest of the Kindergartners sang a cute little dad song at morning program...
and after Jeff stayed to have "donuts with dad" in the classroom.
He brought home some homemade goodies...
I love these little questionnaires...
(the watch t.v. part is too funny! Jeff says he's never letting them watch tv again! hehe)
On Sunday Jeff worked in the morning but was home early to spend the day with us.
While he was at work Kennie & I made strawberry shortcake! Yum
And for dinner I made beef & broccoli...Jeff's fav! :)

After dinner we went to the playground...

I can't take how grown up Kennie looks in the picture!

Kennie was super excited when she saw her friend Isabella!
We love you daddy!
Hope you had a great day! :)

This girl...

Josie definitely keeps us on our toes!
Comparing Makenzie and Josie at this age is like night & day.
Looking back I realize how easy and mellow Makenzie was...
Kenzie definitely had her moments but for the most part she stayed with me, rarely ran away from me when we were out & about.  I didn't have to chase her around all that much.
She was pretty easy.

Josie is a little different...
If I take Josie out somewhere and put her down she will almost immediately run away from me.
She doesn't care who is around or how many people, she will weave  in and out of any crowd!
She loves people and will wave and "talk" to almost anyone!
And almost everyone she meets comments on her personality!
At morning program the minute I put her down her little legs are on the move until the classes come in!
Almost every time she tries to escape and run out in the hallway.
And if I don't have a good grip on her when the kids start coming in she will run to the kids and grab anyone she can get a hold of! hehe :)

This morning I was looking through my phone and I was laughing at all the pictures I had of Josie either climbing on something or just being silly...

*Hiding from me in a cubby at story time
*I caught her escaping from her crib!
*I was getting a clean diaper and wipes ready for her on the changing table and I came back to find her ready for the diaper change on our table...
*front row seat to some Baby Genius
*Just chillin on her high chair
 *Jo's mad face
*Josie the gypsy....she had to wear her jewelry like this on our walk! :)
 *Just being Jo
*As I was getting a new sheet Jo took her tractor and decided to ride on Kenize's bed :)
She's our little wild child...
and we just love her to pieces!
