GOOD BYE NYC!!

Well where do I begin.....1st we moved!! We are no longer city folks...goodbye tall buildings, hello farms! We moved back Upstate! We wanted to move ever since we found out I was pregnant. We initially thought we would wait about a year until we grew out of our little Queens apartment but we decided to start the new year upstate! Moving was def very stressful!! I worked all the way up until the day we were suppose to leave (don't know what I was thinking!) and to top it off I was sick when we were suppose to move so we had to push back moving day!

Leaving work was def a lot harder than expected! I will not miss my job but I will def miss the people I worked with! I have met some amazing people at work and I will def miss them all! What was suppose to be only a temporary job lasted 3 years! I def met some interesting people and had the chance to see some celebrities at work (I'm most proud of seeing Britney Spears & Miley Cyrus!! I know I'm almost 10 years older than Miley but I was so excited to see her!) I also got to spend a month in both San Fran & LA which were both great experiences! Unfortunately I was sick my last day at work so I left early without saying goodbye to a lot my favorite people.

Since are appartment was so small I figured packing & moving would be a breeze....WRONG! It seems like we had a ton more stuff than I ever thought we had!! It's funny how much junk 2 people accumulate in 3 years! Our plan was to have Jeff drive the moving truck up and I would follow with a rental car (since we couldn't have an infant car seat in a moving truck) but since we were moving Christmas week EVERY rental company was sold out of cars!! The only way for Makenzie & I to get upstate was to fly. I was a little nervous to fly with Kenzie for the 1st time but she was great! The flight was only 50 minutes & she slept for most of it!

Anyway...we had a great Christmas with my family and I promise to post pictures as soon as I can!! I hope everyone had a great Christmas as well!!

A little Oneonta Reunion

On Sunday, my friend Tracy (better known as Jersey) had a little get together with some of our college friends! Even though it was a year in the making, it was wonderful to see everyone! Except for Justine, this was the first time meeting Makenzie for everyone else! It was especially hard for our friend Tracy (another Tracy....better known as Spooner) to see me as a mom! I lost track of how many times she said that it was so weird seeing me with a baby! I lived with Spooner my freshmen year of college so I can understand why it might be weird for her....

Yummy fingers!

Staring at Tatiana!

I had a great time with the girls! No matter how much time goes by it is always so much fun when we get back together! It was nice to see everyone since at the end of this month we are moving!! Going back upstate!!

1 year anniversary of the "big news"

Tomorrow, December 12th will be exactly one year since we found out we were pregnant with this little bundle of joy...
Jeff & I always tell Makenzie that she is the best gift ever...and when I was in Gap the other day I saw this onesie & I had to get it....
Look how big Kenzie's getting...

She now weighs 13lbs 12 ounces! I can't believe last year at this time she was smaller than a little pea! Now she is 4 months old and we couldn't be more in love with her!

Makenzie meets SANTA!

Today Jeff & I took Kenzie to meet the big guy! She was such a good girl! We couldn't get a smile out of her but she didn't cry!
