Sledding

On Tuesday I took Kenzie sledding!

This was her first time sledding on an actual hill!  

She loved it!

Ok winter...you can leave now....really!! :)

A little trip to Syracuse

On Monday Jeff & I took the girls to Syracuse for a day of fun!

We started the day at Destiny USA...

it was my first time since the expansion and I felt a little overwhelmed! hehe! 

I guess it didn't help that it was President's Day so everyone in the CNY area was there!

But anyway....we decided it was a great day for Kenzie's first trip to Build-A-Bear!  

She received a gift card for her birthday back in August...

so she was very excited!!

Before we left I had to take a couple pictures of this little cutie...

(someone is due for another haircut soon!)

Makenzie had plenty of time to pick the perfect stuffed animal since there was a pretty long line!

She decided on Twilight Sparkle rather quickly...I was impressed! :)

After we grabbed a quick bite to eat in the food court and a ride on the carousel! 

Josie and I sat in the carriage behind Kennie!

After the mall we continued our trip up to my grandparents...

they didn't know we were coming so it was quite the surprise to see us walking through the door!

They loved seeing the girls and Josie showed off all her funny tricks for them!

She's such a clown.

And then we ended our trip at my brother's house to visit!

Makenzie had so much fun playing with cousin Brayden!

And Josie had so much fun running around making a mess! :)

We had a great day...

it was so nice seeing everyone.

And next time we come up...we will meet Baby Olive! :)

Daddy's Little Syracuse Cheerleader!

Since Syracuse is number one in the country 

I thought it was a great time to post these pictures!  

Did anyone see that half court shot that won the game the other day!?!
I thought Jeff hurt his injured knee because he was screaming....

no he didn't get hurt, a freshman made a shot way past the 3 point line with like 1 second left on the clock, winning the game!

She didn't want to stand up or even sit up and the hat came off 2 seconds after I put it on!

I don't know about you, but we are so ready for spring around here!  

This winter has been brutal...more snow than the last 4 years combined!

Sadly enough we still have another month or so of this until we can get some nice spring weather....

So anyway...

Last week Jeff had surgery on his knee.  :(

He tore his meniscus (I didn't even know we had a meniscus until he tore it! hehe) so he needed it fixed!

So far he has had very little pain!

I took this picture after Jeff's surgery when Makenzie was cuddling with him :)

 A couple weekends ago we went to Queens for the annual Superbowl party. 

Josie had a lot of fun with this cute little guy! :)  Only 3 weeks apart.  

Kenzie had fun too...she was upstairs with her friends the whole time.  I think I saw her once, maybe twice the whole time we were there! :)

During Superbowl weekend we stayed at Jeff's family's house!

Snow Day

A week or so ago we had a snow day at the Soto house!

Kenzie's school was closed, mommy's work closed and daddy tried not to go in but 

he had to later on in the day! 

Kennie was so excited to be home!  

I was excited too! The library doesn't close for weather very much so it was nice having a little surprise snow day for myself! 

I was very happy when Jo Jo woke up happy...

because this is what the poor girl looked like the day before....

(she had a double ear infection)  

But after a round of antibiotics Jo was her happy little self again!  

Just in time to enjoy the snow day! :)

 So with everyone healthy we...

*Played games while baby sis napped

 *Played with our animal friends

 *Started writing out Valentine cards

 *Watched the snow fall from our nice, dry, warm home.  

We didn't venture outside on this day.

 *Played with our new princess play-doh castle!

 Ok so now that we've had our fun this snow can melt and spring can come! :)
