Good bye cast!

On New Years Eve we went to the doctor to get Josie's cast off!!

I was excited!!  :)  

It did stay a little cleaner than I expected (thanks to me putting a big sock over it every time she ate!) but I was still looking forward to getting that thing off! 

I lost track of how many times we were hit (intentionally and unintentionally) with it!

At first she didn't know what to think of the saw they use to cut it off....

but after a few seconds she was fine and watched them!  

When she saw her skin underneath she wouldn't touch her arm because she called her excess dead skin "dirt".... 

It took her a few hours to realize that she can bend her elbow now!

After the doctors we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate! :)

Hopefully this will be the last cast to come in to the Soto household!

Our Christmas photo shoot....

I was pretty pleased how our Christmas photo shoot turned out!

It was at the end of November and it was a really nice day out so I knew this was one of my last chances of getting cute pictures of the girls outside!

They both cooperated and took some pretty cute pics! :)

Luckily for her it was washable and came off with just water and a washcloth...

and it helps that she's just too cute!

The girls were super excited Christmas morning!!

They woke up to see some pretty cool goodies left by Santa!!

When Christmas 2014 came to a close this little one wasn't quite ready to let it go...

She was crying because she didn't think it was fair to have to go to bed on Christmas! :)

Christmas Eve

{Since I'm posting this 3 months after the day I'm going to be quick!}

Christmas Eve was pretty busy for us...

I was getting over the stomach bug so I had put off everything until the last minute. 

I didn't even start wrapping the girls' gifts until Christmas Eve night!

And then there was Josie....

She refused to look at the camera! 

She finally came around and smiled that cute smile! :)

After church we rushed home to make cookies to leave out for Santa!

Josie helped with the decorating although she mostly ate them! :)

Very serious....

While I was vacuuming somehow Santa sneaked in and left the girls new pjs!!

They were just a little excited! :)

Jeff finally came home from working a ton of hours so the girls were very excited to see daddy!!

I let the girls fall asleep in my bed....

While Santa was busy wrapping and fulling stockings these 2 little cuties slept...
