State Fair!

I love love love the fair!
I seriously look forward to it all summer!
Last year at 1 Kenzie enjoyed the Fair so I knew she would love it this year even more!
We went up with my mom and met my sister and my nephew Cody there.
We had gorgeous weather....sunny and pretty cool!
She was so active and ran from animal to animal so it was hard to get a picture that wasn't the back of her head or blurry!
Playing in the Dairy building...
That's a lot of people!
Petting a puppy dog!
News anchors Kenzie & Cody....
Representin' Potters! :)
Taking a quick snooze!
I was actually very surprised when she fell asleep!
Last year she stayed awake the whole time so I was expecting the same this year too!
One of my favorite things to do as a kid at the fair was to hold a baby chicken!
I think Kenzie loved it too!
Watching the horses...
Look at all the bling bling on this horse!
Resting in the horse barn...
At this point they were both in a strange mood and decided to sit there as long as they could while we toured the building.
I think Kenzie's favorite animal were the llamas!
She ran from cage to cage saying "mommy, more llamas!"
I seriously cannot look at a llama without laughing...
they are so funny looking!
Watching the parade....
I was excited for Kenzie to try the moo moo cows again this year!
Last year wasn't a success!
This year she said no right away-I was definitely disappointed!
So after dinner I did a little bribing (with a cupcake!) and got her on a cow!
I thought once she was on she would have fun and want to go on again....
She lasted for the whole ride but did not want to go on again!
Maybe next year!

Jeff & his enormous turkey leg...
At the end of the day my mom and I were not ready to leave....
although we had spent 8+ hours there it's always sad to leave.
Jeff didn't quite understand us but he was a good sport!
We found a grassy place to people watch and for Kenzie to run around....

There was a very nice couple sitting next to us who fell in love with Kenzie....
They even bought her ice cream! :)
And when Kenzie finished it, the nice lady was actually going to buy her more!

I changed Kenzie into her jammies before the car ride home...and good thing I did!
She was out within a few minutes! :)

Our week....

Last Sunday we went up to Syracuse for my nephew Brayden's Baptism....
I was very bummed when I realized I forgot my camera!
So I just stole a few from my sis-in-law!
At the church...
My brother, sis-in-law with Brayden and me
After church we went over to their house for a celebration!
Not that I want summer to end but I feel like I'm getting bored with all the summer stuff....
In the beginning we went to the lake often, played in her kiddie pool...etc....
but now I'm trying to find other things to do for the last couple weeks of summer.
This day we just went to the school's playground....

Playing with play-doh!
I was trying to think of a way to explain how to play with playdoh...
I quickly realized that she's a toddler and she'll find a way to play and will have
a lot of fun doing so!
She was entertained for well over an hour!
On Friday we were lucky to see this adorable little guy again...
Scott, Emily and Brayden drove down for the afternoon!
I got to hold baby B and Kenzie got to play with Uncle Scott...
I think we were all happy! :)
It has not stopped raining in a couple days and I am beyond ready for nice sunny weather!!
Either this week or next week we are headed to the NY State Fair and I am so very excited for it! Every year I look forward to the fair although it means the end of the summer!
I know Kenzie will love all the animals this year and all the other fun things to see! :)

Summer Pictures....

This is what happens when she spends the day at Grampy's with her cousins and does not take a nap...Playing outside...

Love her ringlets!

Kisses for Baby Drake...

She was so proud of this....it kept her occupied for a long time....The strangest things keep a toddler happy!
Finger painting....
Jumping in puddles with her new rain boots! Pointing to a big puddle...
Swinging at the ball flats...

I seriously can't believe it's already nearing the end of August!!
Time flies!
