Kenzie's 2nd Birthday

Kenzie's birthday was perfect! She woke up bright and early....and discovered her new bike waiting for her!!

She asked "what's dat?" and immediately got on the bike!

Kenzie then discovered the rest of her presents waiting for her on the couch!

We had to wait until 8 (when they opened) to go to a nearby bakery for breakfast so we decided to take Kenzie outside to experiment with finger paint! She was a little confused at first....kinda like "mommy you're really going to let me get messy and paint with my hands!" She loved it and I was happy that she got more finger paint from Uncle Scott & Aunt Emily because she will definitely go through her 1st box quickly!

Grampy was meeting us for breakfast so Kenzie played on her new bike until my mom arrived...

Usually when we go to this bakery Kenzie has already had breakfast so we don't order her anything and just let her share what we get....but today she picked out a delicious chocolate chip scone!

After breakfast Grampy spoiled Kenzie with lots of presents!

I know this picture is blurry but it makes me laugh....silly girl had daddy's shoes on while riding her bike in the house!

We had planned to take Kenzie to a nearby playground but ended up just going by my sister's house and playing there with her cousins! I asked if she wanted to go to the playground and she said "no...NeeNee's house".

Later on my mom brought Sophia & Ella over for cupcakes!

She loved when we sang to her...

and of course she loved the cupcake too....

In between the finger painting, bike riding and cupcake eating there was a lot of Shrek & Barney watching, snacking, playing and having lots of fun!

It was a perfect day!
