My almost 1 year old...

Less than a WEEK until Kenzie's 1st birthday! I can't believe she will no longer be our little tiny baby! I'm a little sad but very excited to celebrate Kenzie's 1st year! Kenzie is very excited to be turning 1 as well....she is VERY excited to wear her special birthday outfit! hehe She is also excited to wear the bow I made for her yesterday (well maybe not excited to wear it but excited to rip it out of her hair!) but I think she is most excited for CAKE! 11 Months

Kenzie turned 11 months last week!! I can't believe she is this close to turning 1!!! The countdown in on to her bday...I already ordered her bday outfit & bib and I can't wait to see her in it!!! I ordered it back in April so I am pretty excited to have her wear it! Trust me it's cute!! Kenzie is one lucky girl....she will not only have a party she will have 2!!! She'll have one up here and Jeff's sister Kathy is throwing her one in NJ since our families live so far apart.

Some things Kenzie has been up to lately...

*WALKING!!! She is walking everywhere now!! Oh how I love too see her short little chunky legs walking all over the place.

*She still loves to climb! I feel like everyday I find her on something new....the other day she was able to climb on a box to get on the couch! She is def fearless when it comes to climbing and it makes Mommy a little nervous at times. It seems like she's always tumbling down bumping her head on something...

*She STILL gets up 2 times (sometimes 3x) a night to nurse!!!! I can't believe at 11 months my baby cannot sleep through the night!! It's frustrating since she was such a good sleeper when she was younger! I'm not too sure how she is going to handle it when I start to wean her from nursing next month...

*Makenzie falls asleep almost every night at dinner time in her highchair. I use to get a picture every time but then I realized it was becoming an every night occurrence...and my memory card was filling up rather quickly.

*She loves her big girl food...cheerios, blueberry bagel, toast, bread, banana are her top 5 but then maybe b/c that's all Mommy lets her have...Yes I am a little uptight when it comes to her diet.

*Sadly, she no longer keeps bows in her hair! Right when I start making bows & clips Kenzie decides she does not like them anymore! I try & I try to put it back in her hair but every time she rips it out...she knows it makes me upset b/c she looks right at me when she does it! Little stinker!! Sometimes I find her checking her hair when there isn't even a bow there just to make sure!

*Kenzie still has only 2 teeth, but she's workin on her top teeth....they should be making an appearance any day now!

*She still fits in size 1 shoes!!!! I have no idea where she got her freakishly small feet from!?!?

*Some of her favorite things: being pushed in her buggy car, swimming in her kiddie pool, climbing stairs, going for walks, open mouth kisses with dogs (yes I am a little ashamed to write this but it is one of her favorite things to do so I guess I have to include it).....

4th of July

My future sister in law!

I can't help but laugh every time I see this pic....look at Kenzie staring at Cody!

Cousins....Yes Kenzie has a stick in her mouth....Gotta do what ya gotta do for a pic!! Hehe...I def do not win the mommy of the year award! :)

Well I'm finally posting pics from the 4th. We went to my Uncle's house up in Syracuse. We had a great time! This was my 1st time at the July 4th picnic in so long so I was very excited!! All the kids had a blast and they all looked adorable in their red, white & blue attire! The weather wasn't the best so I was a little disappointed that I couldn't take Kenzie in the pool but other than that it was a great day!
