April Wrap Up {in pictures}

This post a little random mish mosh of April! 

The other day I Youtube'd easy hairstyles for kids.....

Kenzie wants braids almost everyday so I was looking for something to switch it up.

I found the french twist...

 We baked with our Easy Bake Oven :)

Someone flashed mommy a big gummy smile when I was trying to get a picture of her skin...

You can't see it in the pic but she had a little rash on her forehead....I wasn't even trying to get her to smile at the camera! :)

 I came out of my room one day to Makenzie hiding in Josie's carseat....

I was nursing Josie and Makenzie was scared to be alone so she hid in the carseat!

Kenzie got this thing in her Easter basket and it's just the cutest thing ever! 

 Josie has turned in to Makenzie's personal doll she can dress up and accessorize...

Our Weekend

Well I think Spring is finally here...for good this time!

We had a beautiful Spring weekend.  

Lots of fresh air, riding bikes, chalk and open windows! :)

On Saturday this little one woke up from her nap with crazy hair! :) 

Makenzie has been waiting for a good month now to wear this new (to us) outfit...

finally it was nice enough to wear it! :)

thanks Tati for passing it on to Kenzie...she loves Hello Kitty!! :)

Baby Jo enjoyed the sunshine too....

A woman at the grocery store was convinced she's Irish.  I'm like no...she's actually 1/2 Colombian.
I don't think she believed me! hehe :)

Over the weekend this little cutie mastered rolling over!! 

Now the minute you put her down on her back she rolls over to her belly...

and then gets upset 2 minutes later b/c she wants to be on her back!

On Saturday Makenzie was so excited all day long to stay up to watch Yogi Bear on tv. 

I think it started at 7:30 and this is what happened by 8....

On Sunday the girls wore the same shirt to church....

Makenzie loves matching Josie!

And I think Josie might like it too! :)

Later we played outside again....while little sister took her afternoon nap! :)

6th month stats

On Wednesday Josie had her 6 month well visit.

Her doctor said she looks great! :) 

Her stats....

Weight: 15 lbs 15 ounces 

Length: 25 1/4 inches

I think both were in the 50th percentile.  

And just b/c I can't post without pictures.....

Makenzie was about 6 1/2 months and Josie was about 5 1/2 months...

 Jo's red hair definitely sets her apart from sissy....
